During this time Anna was inspired and influenced by the artists Vincent Van-gogh, Edvard Munch, Kandinsky, Dali, Chagall, Turner and Byzantine Art , as well as her environment and where she was living at the time. most of these works are from her student years at the Cyprus college of Art.
Storm in the old town was painted in old town limassol Cyprus, outside actually during a heavy thunder and rain storm, it was a powerful experience for me.
'Tree In spring' is a rare Painting as it is one of the few that was based around a Photograph, from the Village her grandmother grew up in Agia Varvara, Cyprus.
Old Town 'Atmosphere and light' was the first painting Anna Sold at a group exhibition at Orpheus gallery Limassol, this painting was also shortlisted for the Celeste art Prize.
Child Covering one Eye is important painting on my painting journey. It was the first painting without a conscious plan or direction, through the process i call looking in and bringing out. This painting was the start of my road to developing my own style, creative methods and techniques.
The majority of these paintings have been sold and are now part of private collections in the UK and Cyprus.
